With Delta 12Status, Seahawks fans based in the Seattle area were able to earn miles with every passing yard made by Geno Smith: this year’s ambassador for the program. Through a variety of Paid, Email, and Organic Social assets, we were able to reach our campaign goal of 100,000 sign-ups.
To help promote the campaign, the Seahawks and Delta partnered with Coca-Cola to offer a Beverage Poncho as a gate giveaway item. In addition, the Seahawks Dancers and Blitz paid a special visit to the SeaTac airport ahead of our away game matchup versus Detroit. Seahawks fans at the Delta gate received Seahawks swag packs and had the opportunity to engage with the talent.
The Pro Shop promoted the 12Status member discount of 12% off leading up to the 12th of every month, using a variety of collections (Throwbacks, Holiday) to drive more sign-ups. 12Status also reached a program total of 1 Billion Miles awarded to Seahawks fans: an amazing milestone and testament to the longstanding partnership the team has with Delta.
