Down Never Means Out

After sitting out the Super Bowl commercials in 2020, Budweiser made its return to the big screen for Super Bowl LVI with its, “Down Never Means Out” :60 spot.

The sentiment behind the commercial was to remind America that the country would come back stronger than ever in a post-pandemic environment. The commercial, shot by Yellowstone director Chloe Zhao, depicted a Clydesdale on its healing journey. Budweiser also partnered with viral Twitter account We Rate Dogs in a farse stunt, joking that the Clydesdale featured alongside the dog in the commercial was, indeed, also a dog.
