The Seahawks’ Team of Champions program recognizes eight nonprofit organizations who are making a difference within the Seattle community. Brought to life in partnership with our friends at Boeing Washington, Team of Champions kicks off with a visit from a Seahawks Legend prior to the beginning of the regular season and sustains itself through the very last home game.
In its second season of activation, Team of Champions proved again to be a success. Content from the campaign sustained itself throughout 10 home games: providing each of our organizations with game tickets, an in-game feature, and social media exposure via our @SeahawksCommunity account.
Because Marcus Trufant was the Seahawks Legend attached to the program for the 2023-2024 season, he was happy to support via his own social media. Organizations were also listed on our Team of Champions webpage, where fans could click out to learn more about each nonprofit. And KING 5, Seattle’s go-to source for local news, helped amplify the story.
